Come volunteer with Rachel and Every Meal at Loring School on a Friday to fill kids’ backpacks with lunches! You could help once a month or when available.
Get connected! Fall Connection Groups start in October! A connection group is a recurring time of encouragement that centers around a theme or idea, and now is the time to be thinking about a group you may want to lead. Go to corner.church/groups to learn more and to send in your group idea!
Our annual Corner Church Fall Retreat will be October 25-27. *There will be no in-person services in Minneapolis that day, but we will stream our 10am session from the retreat. Be sure to grab a brochure and get registered! There are just under two weeks to get registered before prices go up!
Journey Church in Vilnius is facing an imminent move as the building they were renting in was slated for demolition. We can help! The preliminary dates are October 7-14 or October 14-21, and the cost would be roughly $1200. If you have interest, please connect with Scott Woller this week: scott@cornerchurch.tv.

The Parting of the Red Sea (Exodus 14:13-31) (Moses raised his staff / God provided a path)

But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. 14 For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’”
The Protection of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3:1-30) (They trusted God no matter the outcome / God protected them)

17 “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
Jesus heals the man born blind (John 9:1-12) (The man went to wash in the pool / he was healed by Jesus)

6 After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. 7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
