hey
Romans 10:13 //
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Evangelism is proclaiming the Gospel – the good news about Jesus Christ which is God’s power to save all who believe it and turn from sin to follow him.
Preach the Gospel at all times. Use words if necessary.

Romans 10:14-15 //
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
In the Old Testament God’s gospel promised a Kingdom and a King.

Genesis 12:1-3 //
The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you.I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.”
Isaiah 40:9-11 //
O Zion, messenger of good news, shout from the mountaintops! Shout it louder, O Jerusalem. Shout, and do not be afraid. Tell the towns of Judah, “Your God is coming!” Yes, the Sovereign Lord is coming in power. He will rule with a powerful arm. See, he brings his reward with him as he comes. He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young.

Isaiah 52:7-10 //
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news,
the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns! The watchmen shout and sing with joy, for before their very eyes they see the Lord returning to Jerusalem. Let the ruins of Jerusalem break into joyful song, for the Lord has comforted his people. He has redeemed Jerusalem. The Lord has demonstrated his holy power before the eyes of all the nations. All the ends of the earth will see the victory of our God.
Isaiah 61:1-2 //
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies.

Mark 1:14-15 //
Jesus went into Galilee, where he preached God’s Good News.“The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. “The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the GoodNews!”
In the New Testament God’s gospel announces Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Romans 1:1-4 //
This letter is from Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, chosen by God to be an apostle and sent out to preach his Good News. God promised this Good News long ago through his prophets in the holy Scriptures. The Good News is about his Son. In his earthly life he was born into King David’s family line, 4 and he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.
“Jesus” - the crucified Galilean of history.
“Christ” - the promised Messiah-Savior of the Old Testament.
“Lord” - the divine and risen King over all.
1. Christ came as our King.
2. Christ died for our sins.
3. Christ rose to rule.
4. Christ will return to Judge.

Romans 2:16 //
This will take place on the day when God judges people’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.
Jesus’ priority was evangelism (Matt. 9:35)

Matthew 9:35 //
Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom.
1874:
Alexander Graham Bell delivered the first phone
It took 75 years to reach 50 million people

1895:
Radio was invented
It took 38 years to reach 50 million people

2004:
Facebook launched

2016:
Pokémon GO launched
It took 19 days to reach 50 million people

Matthew 9:36 //
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
Jesus’ motivation was compassion.

Matthew 9:35-38 //
36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.37 He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”
Jesus’ strategy was prayer.

John 15:1-7
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunesso that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Romans 10:12-15
For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”
