Water Baptism - Phil Kendon
Water Baptism is a visual sermon. When we watch someone get baptised, it is as though someone is telling us the story of how Jesus was nailed to that cross, then buried in that tomb, and then raised to life on the third day! Everything we need to know and understand about baptism can be found in the passion of Christ. At the same time, everything we need to know about our own salvation is found in that same message. Because what happened to Jesus is what happened to us – he did it for us. In baptism, we are buried with Christ into death so that we can be raised with Christ to a new life.
