Six Questions About the Abortion Topic

A. The Bible establishes that God RECOGNIZES a person in the womb before he or she is born.
B. Murder is an ABOMINATION in the sight of God because it is the unauthorized killing of a being made in God’s own image.
2. What Quality of Life Mandates PRESERVATION?
A. The question could be put like this: Has the fetus gained a QUALITY of life worthy of PRESERVATION?
B. These questions only lead to some sort of genetic ELITISM and should not even be asked.
C. From the same mouth that says we must PROTECT the homeless, the penniless, animals and the environment comes words which speak of KILLING an unborn human!
D. The RESULT of the desire for "abortion-on-demand" is homicide, euthanasia, infanticide.

5. What Does It Mean to BELIEVE in the “SANCTITY of LIFE”?
A. The phrase reflects the belief that because people are made in God’s IMAGE, Genesis 1:26, human life has an essential WORSHIP quality that should be protected and respected at all times.
B. While God gave humanity the authority to kill and eat OTHER forms of life, Genesis 9:3, the murdering of other human beings is expressly forbidden, with the penalty being DEATH, Genesis 9:6.
C. The sanctity of life means that HUMANITY is more sacred than the rest of creation, but human life is not HOLY in the way that God is holy.
D. Violence, abuse, oppression, human trafficking, and many other evils are all VIOLATIONS of the sanctity of life.
