The Personhood of the Father & How He Relates to Us
A Reminder of What We’ve Confirmed

A summary of logical conclusions from the last three sermons:

Now that we have learned the primary attributes of our Heavenly Father in the last sermon, let’s find out more about His personhood.
Evidence for the Personhood of God the Father

The Bible specifically and repeatedly addresses the __________ of each member of the Trinity in scripture.

Note the personhood of the Father:
He has a _____.
He has a _____.
He _____.
He has _____.
He _____.
He seeks _____ with us.
How Do We Directly Relate With the Father?

How do we relate to and interact with the Heavenly Father?

The following provides _____ evidence.
The Father as _____.
We _____ in the Father.
We _____ the Father.
We _____ to the Father.
We _____ the Father.
We _____ the Father.
The Father _____ us.
The Father brings us _____.
Why is it necessary to establish the independent attributes, personhood, and our direct relationship with the Father?
After establishing the Biblical foundation for monotheism, and as we establish all of this for each member of the Trinity, we more easily understand 4 realities:

1. God is in fact a representation of 3 persons.

2. We do not have a representation of 3 different gods.

3. God cannot be one single being with Christ simply being a man created by God and the Holy Spirit being a force or power of God (Unitarianism).

4. God cannot be simply expressing Himself by changing into 3 different personalities (Oneness Doctrine / Modalism); God does not change.
