Discipleship is simply falling more and more in love with Jesus until you love what Jesus loves, and do what Jesus does.

God is less concerned with what you do than about who become.

If you read the story of Christ and find weakness, you are reading it wrong.

How you handle yourself in adversity speaks more to your character and integrity than 99% of what you do on a good day.

You have to know who you are in Christ.

Jesus didn’t need the affirmation or support of a king or a crowd to know who He was.

He knew who He was because He trusted what God has to say.

So what does God have to say about us?

Jesus knew who He was, He also knew His purpose!

You have to know your purpose.

God’s greater purpose is ALWAYS our greatest good!

Jesus was unwilling to sacrifice his eternal purpose for His temporary comfort.

Jesus showed powerful self control, because God’s Word teaches self control.

Jesus didn’t defend Himself, because He knew God was His defender.

You have got to know who you are, and when that is rooted in Christ, you are bulletproof.

You have got to know your purpose, and when you do, you will be undaunted.

You have got to trust in the Word of God to guide your life, and when you do, you will emerge unshaken as you face the storms of life.
