2. Meals for Jesus are often places and times where he is in direct community with "sinners". Knowing the importance of meals in Christ's time, and even ours, how does understanding meals as ministry for Jesus change how you see stories about meals in the Bible?

3. Repentance can be hard because it requires we reflect deeply on the actions we are not proud of. Has this been your experience with repentance? How did you move through this uncomfortableness?

4. How has the pathway of repentance helped you find spiritual freedom in your life?

5. Jesus equates repentance to healing in our scripture passage, how has repentance healed you in your life? How has God's grace healed you?
