I. The Just Shall Live By Faith
Different Translations of Romans 1:17
Romans 1:17 (NLT): 17 This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
Romans 1:17 (NDSB Ro): The way to a right relationship with God is revealed in it when man’s faith responds to God’s fidelity, just as it stands written: ‘It is the man who is in a right relationship with God as a result of his faith who will live.’
It’s time to think, live, and be all we were created to be. Average is not in your spiritual DNA. Nothing Christ has done for you or in you is mediocre. #theoutletcc
II. Radical Righteousness Defined
Romans 3:24-26 NKJV

Propitiation = mercy seat
The mercy seat is the place where God looked in the OT to determine if the people were worthy of the forgiveness of sin and to have His abiding presence. Jesus is our mercy seat who has once and for all established our worth because of His life! (Hebrews 9)
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 NLT
1. A life controlled by sin and stained by the mistakes of your past, no longer exists (Romans 6:1-4; Romans 8:2; Philippians 3:13-14)
2. We cannot earn this place of right standing with God (Romans 5:17-21)
3. God removed the barrier of sin, not for us to live lives that dishonor what Christ purchased. He removed the barrier of sin, for us to be an extension of His heart to the world.
4. The same way Jesus took all of our sins, though He did not sin; We received all of His Righteousness (right-standing) with the Father though we did nothing righteous.
III. God is Not Looking for Ways to Terminate His Relationship with You. He is Looking for ways to Elevate His Relationship with You.
