Versiti will host a blood drive here at Chapel Rock on Sunday, August 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in FH 19. Please plan to make a life-saving donation while you’re here. Use the QR code to register. Walk-ins are welcome.
Men’s Monthly Breakfast and Devotion
The men’s monthly breakfast and devotion led by Pastor Fred, will be next Saturday, August 3. The coffee and fellowship time begins at 7 a.m. with the breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Please enter at door #3 or #12. Pastor Fred will bring the devotion after breakfast.
Discovery Days is Enrolling
Discovery Days preschool is enrolling for the 2024-25 school year. Half-day preschool classes are offered for ages 2 through Pre-K. For more information or to enroll, visit discovery-days.org. Classes start Monday, August 19.
Office Closure This Tuesday
The church staff will be away from the office for an extended lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Tuesday, July 30. The church office will be closed during this time.
Special Congregational Meeting
A special congregational meeting will be held Sunday, August 25, after each service to vote on an amendment to section 3.08 of the Chapel Rock Christian Church bylaws regarding a quorum for annual and special meetings. Chapel Rock members are encouraged to attend the August 25 meeting in person to vote.
Chapel Rockets Seniors Ministry Events
Care & Share is this Wednesday, July 31, at noon in Connection Corner. Please bring your own lunch and beverage. The monthly pitch-in is this Thursday, August 1, at 11:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Please bring a side dish or two to share and a friend!
Women’s Ministry Event
The next women’s event will be Friday, August 23, at 6:30 p.m. This event is ALL ABOUT YOU! Ashley Roembke will be our guest speaker and you do not want to miss this night of study, prayer, and discussion. Registration begins next Sunday, August 4, in the Foyer. Night of Worship
Chapel Rock will host a Night of Worship on Sunday, August 18, at 6 p.m. in the Worship Center. Desserts and treats will be served by the Women's Ministry at the end of the night. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
July Items for Operation Christmas Child
July's OCC items of the month are school supplies! Some children are only allowed to attend school if they have their own supplies. Let’s empower kids to stay in school! New school supplies can be placed in the Drop Zone.
Life Centers Celebration of Life
Life Centers annual Celebration of Life is Wednesday, August 14, at 6:30 p.m. at the JW Marriott downtown. Dr. Ben Carson is the keynote speaker. Cost is $75 per person. Register at lifecenters.com.
Blended Family Marriage Class
Rapha Restoration Ministries is hosting a four-week class to support and encourage couples in blended family marriages. Rapha is partnering with IndyBlended, a local ministry specializing in providing help and hope for couples in "step-parenting" roles. This class will meet in WC 105 each Sunday night in August, 6 to 8 p.m. Cost is $15 per couple. Register online at rapharestoration.org or call 317-603-4726.
