John 4:1-26

● Jesus came and found this woman where she was at the well, at mid-day.
● He broke many social customs during his interaction with her
● Jesus reveals himself to her as the Messiah
● He shows us that EVERYONE is invited to come into His Kingdom

Purpose of the Gospel of John

John 20:30-31
Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

1. Journey: Someone journeys to a foreign place
2. Woman at a well: Man encounters a woman
3. Draws water: Someone draws water
4. News!: Woman hurries to bring news of the visitor
5. Hospitality: The visitor stays and eats with the family
6. Joining: Two parties are joined as one
