In Revelation 6:10 God is asked, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" The answer is in Revelation 6:17 "For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?" Isaiah called this "the day of the Lord's vengeance".

During the tribulation, a man will have to work all day just to secure food for himself! There will be nothing for the family.
God makes it clear that:
1. Their suffering was an appointment, not an accident.
2. Others would be joining them
3. Even in death, God is in control
4. There is nothing to fear!
5. Their sacrifice was worth it!
Revelation 2: 10 Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
