How does a person become a “follower” of Jesus?
A. ADMIT
Admit that you need Him. Admit you’ve done wrong and your sin is against God.
“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
B. BELIEVE
Believe that Jesus is the solution to my problem. Believe that Jesus’ death paid the penalty I had earned for my sin & rebellion.
“God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
C. CALL
Call out to God to save me, forgive me & rescue me from the punishment I deserve – and make me His child.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13
