God has a plan for us and so does satan. These two plans are at war with each other and often collide during the most important moments of our lives when we must choose good or evil. To choose wisely we must know our enemy.
Our enemy, the devil, is cunning and often decides to attack when we are most desperate and vulnerable. His mission is to corner us in compromising situations where we begin to question who God is, and what God has said. God always provides a way out.
When we entertain the voice of the enemy we open the door to deception. His mission is to kill, steal, and destroy. When the enemy speaks, we must take him captive!
The enemy’s main tactic is to tempt us with counterfeit promises. He appeals to our carnal mindset and nature by targeting our flesh, appetites, ego, and desires. He attempts to entice us by twisting God’s word to validate our sin.
Our path to victory and modus operandi is always the same: we stand, we suit up, and we fight back with the word of God. Defense is key but surmounting our enemy means we must adopt a more offensive mindset.
