Your cross is you dying to the right to “just do you.”
To believe in Jesus means that I’m with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, so that I do the things He did, and would do if He were me.
In our culture of instant gratification, it can be hard for us to believe that denying self is actually the path to the better things we were created for.
Can you imagine God filling you and satisfying you and resurrecting you to the point that you can trust Him to put you in the ground however He chooses?
No reserves.
Say “no” to self and “yes” to Jesus every time.
No reserves. No retreat.
No reserves. No retreat. No regrets.
