We should surrender our speech to God
Heavenly Father. You gave us the ability to speak and we recognize that there is great power in the words we say and the words we type. We know we have abused this power. We have not controlled our tongues well. We lean on your grace and your promises to all those who trust in Jesus to forgive the ways we have misused our words.
And now, we want to surrender all our speech to you today. May every word we say or type be set apart to you. We ask this for your glory and our good, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
