Psalm 30 | Ps. Josh Hersey (Summer In The Psalms)
(Romans 12:15 NIV) Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

(Psalm 30:1-3 NLT) I will exalt you, Lord, for you rescued me. You refused to let my enemies triumph over me. (2) O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you restored my health. (3) You brought me up from the grave, O Lord. You kept me from falling into the pit of death.

(Psalm 30:4-5 NLT) Sing to the Lord, all you godly ones! Praise his holy name. (5) For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.

(Matthew 11:28 NLT) Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”

(Philippians 4:6-7 NLT) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. (7) Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

(Psalm 30:6-7 NLT) When I was prosperous, I said, “Nothing can stop me now!” (7) Your favor, O Lord, made me as secure as a mountain. Then you turned away from me, and I was shattered.

(Proverbs 16:18 NIV) Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

(Psalm 30:8-10 NLT) I cried out to you, O Lord. I begged the Lord for mercy, saying, (9) “What will you gain if I die, if I sink into the grave? Can my dust praise you? Can it tell of your faithfulness? (10) Hear me, Lord, and have mercy on me. Help me, O Lord.”

(Psalm 51:17 NLT) The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.

(Psalm 30:11-12 NLT) You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, (12) that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!

(James 1:2-4 NLT) Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. (3) For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. (4) So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

(Romans 1:16 NIV) I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes…
