The building up of God’s people will always be rooted in God’s Word.
A Christlike influence can end in a heavenly eternity, but a good influence that is lacking Jesus Christ ends in hell.
Everything you do is for the glory of something and if it’s for the glory of anything other than Jesus, then you’re doing it wrong.
Your children are being influenced by where you’re putting your glory.
Your good influence isn’t saving their soul, but your God influence could make the difference in their eternal destination.
A God influence is fostered by understanding the gravity of what God has done for you and allowing that to affect how you live your life. To understand that gravity, we have to be rooted in the book that puts Him on display.
People are watching where you’re putting your glory.
One of the best things that you can do for your children is put your spiritual walk with Christ as the number one priority in your life.
So take this heart, Lord. I’ll be your vessel.

Become attentive to the Word of God and be rooted in Him not only for your own relationship with Jesus, but also for those you have influence on so that they may potentially find a relationship with Jesus as well.
