Key Point #1: Over time, others will not judge you by the presence or absence of faults, but by the direction of your life (cf. Gen. 21:22-24).
Key Point #2: Trust must be mutual and built upon a relationship of honesty (cf. Genesis 21:25-31).
Key Point #3: Trust isn't just between two parties. If it's going to last, you must trust the Everlasting God (cf. Gen. 21:32-34).
One Last Thought:
"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints not is weary. His understanding is unsearchable" Isaiah 40:28.
