6 Purposes for Lakeview’s Leadership Council
1. Spiritual Support: The Leadership Council supports the Lead Pastor, pastors, and Staff with Spiritual Support.
2. Missional Fulfillment: The Leadership Council makes sure that the mission of the Church is taking place.
• Stronger Inside to Reach Outside.
• Core Values are taking place.
• The pastor, staff, and leadership team must work together to protect against Mission drift.
3. Policy Guidance: The Leadership Council ensures that the Lead Pastor, Pastors, and staff adhere to the Church constitution and bylaws.
4. Strategic Planning: The Leadership Council is to help the Lead Pastor, pastors, and staff with Strategic planning.
5. Personal Accountability: The leadership Council is to help hold the Lead Pastor, pastors, and staff accountable to Jesus, the Church, and one another.
6. Protection: The leadership Council is to help protect the congregation from the Lead Pastor, pastors, and staff.
