The law only showed the problem. It could not solve the problem of sin.

Redemption is a term that applies to a person who owes a debt, but has it paid or redeemed.

Only by a sinless Savior, a perfect High Priest, the spotless Lamb of God could the price be paid to redeem us.

Propitiation is a word taken from religious ceremonies. It is an act of an offended God being offered a sacrifice so that He is appeased.

There is no room for man taking credit for anything related to his salvation. God initiated it. God provided for it through the death of His Son.

God never intended for the Mosaic Law to justify anyone.
