Jesus’ death on the cross gives us the power to have self control.
Self Control: The ability to control oneself, in particular one's emotions and desires or the expression of them in one's behavior, especially in difficult situations.
To have self control means I put my flesh under submission to the Spirit.
If you don’t have self control, you’ll be out of control.
To have self control you need:
1. A personal relationship with Jesus

2. Realize that you have self control
3. Add it
4. Spiritual Maturity
5. Discipline
6. Desire to walk in self control
7. Decide to walk in self control
8. Hold ourselves accountable
Let’s help each other to win spiritually. Who’s holding you accountable?
9. Make a daily practice
How can we walk in self control?
1. Pray
Pray without ceasing. We must continue to develop our prayer life to have self control and withstand the temptation of the world.
2. Read God's word daily
Jesus walked in self control.
3. Keep in step with the Holy Spirit
What happens when we walk in self control?
We will experience freedom.
What happens when we don't walk in self control?
We are subject to our flesh.
Why walk in self control:
1. So we can live
2. So we can have a grand entrance into heaven

The enemy will use our lack of self control to keep us bound.
Our prayer should be: “Lord help us walk in and desire self control”.
