If you know the Father, you know “You.”
By grace we are saved.

To know who we are, we have to know the Father.
Different levels of knowing someone.

Everyone says they know God, but they don’t know where they are seated.

3 Stages of believers
1. Servant
2. Son
3. King & Priest

Majority of the church world operate in the 1st 2.

Old Testament.
The priests played the significant role of standing guard in God’s house, making sacrifices for God’s people, and instructing the people so that they could enjoy God’s blessings. Access to God.

Christians have two assigned duties as a royal priesthood of God.
1st, we intercede between God and needy people.
If people need a savior, we bring them to Jesus who died to save them.
If they need to be healed, we get them healed.
2nd, we worship God. This is a bit different from what priests in most religions do. In most religions, priests are officiants of worship. They lead congregations.
A Christian doesn’t need a service or a church to worship. We can worship God alone, with others in small groups, while sitting in a pew during a church service, or leading songs in a 15,000-seat arena.
Our priestly responsibility to worship God has nothing to do with rituals or sacraments. God lives in us, not in a box, on an altar, or in a building.

Kings
Ruling for Him, Jesus flowing through you & out of you.
We should be ruling in a higher authority than what we have.

We represent the King of Kings.

Kings & priests’ kind of dovetail together.
To cause people to walk even as He walked, to show people that they are truly created in the image of God and what that looks like. Blessed to be a blessing.

Image & likeness = comparable to. You have to take a double take. Gen. 1 27
When you look at Adam, you thought you were looking at God.

Angels = “Elohim”
Elohim = Hebrew for God.
