Local: Pray for the unhoused in your community. Seek to be a help, an answer to prayer.
Church: Pray for God's provision for Corner Church. Pray about being a part of answering this prayer.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Writing Moment:

Make a list of what you have “lots of.”

Other than time and money, what is something you would like to have more of?
Dialogue Question:

How does a person determine what he or she has enough of and what is needed?

Matthew 14:13

Mark 6:31

Luke 9:9

John 6:1-2

Mark 6:34

Matthew 14:14-16

John 6:5-7

John 6:9

Matthew 14:18-19

Luke 9:17

Dialogue Question:

How is this story different from the normal measure of need and adequate supply?

Proverbs 3:1-6

Dialogue Question:

How are you personally challenged as you seek to be like Jesus and meet a need while your baskets are empty?
TAKE IT DEEPER:
Read John 6:1-14.
What meal did your family have when you were growing up that you never liked?
What is a meal that you find difficult to not over-eat?
What do you feel and how do you respond when you are faced with a need that you cannot possibly meet?
How is this story different than those moments when the need remains impossible?
How are you challenged, focused, encouraged, and or frustrated by this text?

READING PLAN:
Matthew 14
Mark 6
Luke 9
John 6
