Luke authored BOTH the Gospel of Luke & Acts.
Together these books account for 27.5% of the New Testament,
the largest contribution by a single author.

What did Jesus do in those 40 days?

- He saw Mary Magdalene - John 20:11-18
- The Road to Emmaus story - Luke 24:13-35
- He visited Peter - Luke 24:34, 1 Corinthians 15:5
- 10 disciples w/o Thomas - Luke 24:36-49, Jhn 20:19-23
- 11 disciples w/ Thomas - John 20:26-29, 1 Cor 15:5
- The 7 disciples while fishing in the Lake of Tiberias (Galilee) - John 21:1-23
- 11 disciples on a mountain in Galilee - Mt 28:16-20
- The disciples before His ascension at the Mount of Olives - Luke 24:50-52, Acts 1:3-11
- More than 500 - 1 Corinthians 15:6
- James (Jesus’ brother) - 1 Corinthians 15:7

“he proved to them in many ways that he was actually alive. And he talked to them about the Kingdom of God.”
Jesus talks about the Kingdom of God 126 times in the Gospels.

“Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” - Matthew 4:17 (Jesus’ first sermon)

5 but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
- What does that mean?

The baptism in the Holy Spirit brings into our lives:
Supernatural:Purification, Revelation, Ability

After Jesus breathed his Holy Spirit onto the disciples in John 20, He still promised them that He would baptize them in the Holy Spirit, giving them supernatural power to minister.

There is always more of the Spirit available to us!
