Small prayers will never wield SIGNIFICANT influence.
1. Elijah prayed BOLD prayers.
-You can pray with greater BOLDNESS than Elijah, thanks to Jesus revealing God as our FATHER.
2. Elijah listened ATTENTIVELY.
-Prayer warriors LISTEN with their ears before they SPEAK with their mouths.
-God doesn't always speak to you in an AUDIBLE voice.
-Ways we may hear from God: Bible reading, silence, nature, meditation, journaling, music, sermons, seeking advice, art, dreams, fasting, conscience, testimonies, books, intuition, family, suffering, pastors, communion.
-You can pray with greater ATTENTIVENESS than Elijah because the SCRIPTURES reveal God's will in Jesus.
3. Elijah was POISED to PARTNER with God.
-You can pray with greater EXPECTATION than Elijah because Jesus has given his Spirit to EMPOWER you.
4. Elijah was RESILIENT in his prayers.
-You can pray with greater RESILIENCE than Elijah because Jesus modeled victorious SUFFERING.
Jesus = RESILIENCE
Spirit = POWER
Scriptures = CLARITY
