1. Paul’s friends in Corinth (18:1–3): Paul meets Aquila and Priscilla, who are tentmakers like he is.
2. Paul's fervor in Corinth (18:4–5): He continually preaches the gospel to Jews and Gentiles.
- In the race to a Child's heart, the first one there wins
3. Paul's foes in Corinth (18:6, 12–17)
a. The unbelieving Jews abuse him (18:6).
b. The unbelieving Jews arrest him (18:12).
c. The unbelieving Jews accuse him (18:13–17):
They bring him before the Roman governor Gallio and charge Paul with blasphemy, but Gallio refuses to try the case.
