The more we look to what God has CONQUERED, the more COURAGEOUS we can become.
Fear tells us that if we completely TRUSTED God the way he calls us to, he would let us DOWN.
Courage is not a unique GIFT given to a select few. It is the WILLINGNESS to walk out what God asks no matter the COST.
Canaan is repeatedly labeled ‘the land which the Lord was to give them’ (Numbers 13:2, 14:16, 23, 30, 40, 15:2, etc.)
Courage looks at the obstacle as the PROOF for God’s purpose. Cowardice looks at the obstacle as the REASON not to obey God.
Courage is THINKING and acting on what you know to be true. Cowardice is an absence of thinking and acting on what you FEEL.
“Faith is a refusal to panic Do you like that sort of definition of faith? Does that seem to be too earthly and not sufficiently spiritual? It is of the very essence of faith. Faith is a refusal to panic, come what may. ” -Martin Loyd Jones
Courage is knowing the JOY of pleasing your father is worth more than the COST of cowardice.
