Young Adult Dinner
Sunday, April 7 | 11:45am | It's young adult dinner. It's traditional potluck foods if that makes a difference. If you ever have questions or would like to be more involved in this ministry, check with Melody Grimm.
Carpeting and Parking Lot Maintenance
We are excited to be getting two large projects done this spring! Our parking lot has needed attention for quite some time and we will be getting the south side refinished and striped. The north side will be coated and striped. We will also be replacing the carpet in the foyer and McCormick Center. This includes basketball lines, volleyball lines, and yes, the three-point line. Several years ago the board directed that we set aside money in a fund for repairs and maintenance. Because of your generous giving over the years and careful management of these funds, we will be able to pay for these two projects in full. If you are interested in helping pick out the carpet, please meet at the church on Wednesday, April 10 at 1pm.
Preschool Run & Fun Play Group
Thursday, April 11 | 9:30-11am
Enjoy coffee and bagels with other adults in the gym while your kids play with riding toys, balls, a slide, and tunnels.

Fully Alive – Life’s Worth
Acts 20:18-34
April 7, 2024
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
The Lord... is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9
Value is based on what someone will pay.
Value is based on what someone will pay.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
He was in a hurry to reach Jerusalem, if possible, by the day of Pentecost.
Acts 20:16
Acts 20:18-24
“You know how I lived the whole time I was with you, from the first day I came into the province of Asia. I served the Lord with great humility and with tears and in the midst of severe testing by the plots of my Jewish opponents. You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.”
“And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
The intrinsic value of my God-given life is nothing next to the value of God himself.
We worship what we believe is ultimately, above all else, worth it.
Acts 20:34-35
“You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”
I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
Acts 20:24
You’ll never be fully alive until you fully live for God.
You’ll never be fully alive until you fully live for God.
If Jesus’ death demonstrates what you are worth to God, how will you demonstrate what God is worth to you?
