Three Thoughts:
1. Jesus was raised so that we can have life and power every day.
2. Jesus did not come so that we could live a religious life, but so that we could live a resurrection life.
3. Jesus did not come to make bad men good; He came to make dead men live! Out of this new life, then, proceeds transformation, resulting in a godly lifestyle.

Jesus died for us and paid the price for our sins.

Romans 6:23 (TPT)
23For sin’s meager wages is death, but God’s lavish gift is life eternal, found in your union with our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One.

Death was the only way to pay the price.
This is why God had to become a man. His blood was the only payment that could make everything right for us with God.

People categorize sin but it says in
James 2:10 (TPT)
10For the one who attempts to keep all of the law of Moses but fails in just one point has become guilty of breaking the law in every respect!

What does His resurrection mean to you?

People say Jesus was raised because He was God’s son.
People say Jesus was perfect & lived a perfect life, so God raised Him from the dead because of that.

God raised Jesus from the dead because you have been declared righteous.

The only way to be made right with God is to believe that Jesus was raised from the dead.

God’s Grace
People in this room still have the mentality that they need to perform, serve, or have good behavior for God to love & accept them.
People who have been in church for decades.
You think that way because you want to receive something from God you need to do that.
That is called self-righteousness.

You don’t know how much God loves you, so you act like a servant instead of a son or daughter.

Do I serve God? Absolutely. But I’m not a servant.

God’s righteousness thinks like this. (Make them Listen)
God loves me so much because I am in Christ, He has enabled me empowered me to walk like Him & to be like Him therefore I do good works because of His Grace.

You do what you are. Your identity.
Sinner – they are sin.
Righteous – they are righteous.
