Greed isn't about how much you have, but the desires that drive you.
How we handle our money is just the external expression of an internal reality.
"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us."
The enemy will give you a moment, in exchange for your future every time.
How much you're willing to sacrifice and surrender your treasure will expose how you view Jesus.
Proximity is staying close to Jesus because it feels comfortable; pursuit is staying close to Jesus because you’re stepping out in faith and you can’t do it without Him.
What would you be willing to give up a years worth of in pursuit of Jesus?
To a heart that doesn't understand the worth of Jesus, sacrifice seem foolish.
My challenge to you today is this:
1. Don’t let your heart wander into the territory of holding back from Jesus.
2. Don't settle for Jesus as anything other than Lord.
3. Let’s not just admire the woman who gave, let’s give like her.
