“What He seen When He Saw”
I. He Saw God (vs 1)
A. Something Had to Die – “king Uzziah died”
B. Notice where he saw Him – “high and lifted up”
C. Notice where he saw Him sitting- “on His throne”
D. Notice that he also saw His affect- “train filled the Temple”
E. Notice also where he saw WHERE He showed up –“the Temple”

II. He Saw God’s Glory (vs 2-4)
A. He saw the Seraphims with six wings
B. He heard what they said- “Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.”

C. He felt the affects- “the post of the doors moved”
D. He saw the lasting impression- “house was filled with smoke”

III. He Saw his Gross Condition (vs 5)
A. He saw himself as the problem (personal 1st person pronouns
B. He knew he was at fault- he knew he was a man of unclean lips, but he also saw that he was wrong for dwelling with people of unclean lips
C. He only had the right perspective because his eyes were finally in the right place- “mine eyes have seen the King”

IV. He Saw God’s Grace (vs. 6,7)
A. This was a painful process- “a live coal”
B. This was a cleansing process- he laid it on the place that was unclean his lips
C. This was a necessary process- “thy sin is purged”
D. Now the process was completed- Thank God that he wants us to be clean, He doesn’t just throw us away

V. He Saw His need to Go (vs. 8)
A. Realize up to this point God had not even spoken- “Also I heard the voice of the Lord”
B. Recognize that God never brought up the past.
C. Now God could communicate His will clearly- “Who will Go?”
D. Isaiah volunteered without hesitation – “Here am I, send me”
E. NOTE: Isaiah would not have volunteered willingly without being in a place where he could see God and not all the distractions (Uzziah, unclean lips, dwelling with people of unclean lips)

VI. He Saw his Obligation to Give out the truth (vs 9,10)
A. Send Me
B. Hear the truth
C. See Conversions
D. Bring healing
1. By Going
2. By Praying
3. By Giving
VII. He Saw his Command until He Goes to heaven (vs 11,12)
We are to see the need and be apart of the Great Commission till God calls us home.
