Following Jesus means embodying the kingdom of God, every day, everywhere.
Unforgiveness always leads to resentment and ultimately bitterness.
We believe that forgiveness is for the benefit of the person being forgiven.
Forgiveness is a gift that you give yourself.
The reason we forgive is because we are forgiven people.
Victims become victimizers if they don’t practice forgiveness.
Forgiveness starts with recognizing that you have been totally forgiven by God.
Identify the person who has hurt you and exactly how you have been hurt and what they have taken from you.
Accept people as they are and release them by forgiving them
Make reconciliation.
Lord, I forgive (name of the person) for (name the specifics). I reclaim the ground I’ve allowed my enemy to gain because of my attitude toward (the person). I give this area of my life back to Jesus.
