MONDAY: Broken
Reading: Genesis 11:1-9
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for Your word which reveals truth to me. Thank You Lord for teaching me Your ways as I look to You for direction. Thank You for the examples in Your word revealing the history of those who followed their own desires and the consequences of those choices. Please help me to remain honest with You and to seek Your will over my own. Lord, there are times when I want to choose my own way and do what seems easy to me, but I ask for patience and meekness from You to wait upon Your answers for my life.

TUESDAY: Broken
Reading: Number 16:1-7
Prayer: I praise You, Lord, for You are holy! Thank You Lord for having grace and mercy on me. Thank You for making it possible for me to come to You and giving me the chance to humble myself before You. Lord you have chosen a way for everyone to come to You and to be remade into the image of Your Son. Please help me to humble myself toward others in my life as You rule over all. I want to live a life of humility before You and before others as I place my life fully into Your hands. I ask for You to let my life be a light which shines the way for others to come to know Your grace and mercy given to them by Your love.
Reading: Number 16:1-7

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for having patience with me. There are times when I see what others have and I am tempted. I am tempted by the treasures of this world and the ease at which they seem to be collected. But Your word brings me back to You. Your word reminds me that the treasures of this world are only for a moment and can be lost just the same. But as I put my treasures in heaven they remain forever with You. Lord please keep my heart from incorrect desires and keep my eyes on You. Thank You for Your word which brings truth and understanding in my life.
Reading: Psalms 73:1-17
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for having patience with me. There are times when I see what others have and I am tempted. Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for calling me. Thank You for revealing who You are to me. Please help me to deny myself and to follow after You. Lord help me to choose You over everything else I desire for my life. I want to lay down all my plans and goals for my life and give them to You. I want to choose Your ways and fulfill the purposes You have for my life. Please direct my paths to You and help me to see where You are so I can stay close to You.

Prayer: Dear Lord, You are great and worthy to be praised. Thank You for being the example I need for my life. Lord help me to draw close to You so that I may resist temptation when it comes. Lord even Your Son gave up control of His life and submitted to You. I want to choose the same. Even when it seems like I am in control of my life the truth is I can feel trapped in certain situations and even for the direction of my life. I often feel unable to change my current situation. But You Lord have all the power and desire to bring purpose and joy into my life. Help me to choose Your will and to submit to Your ways.

Reading: Romans 8:5-14
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for freeing me from the law of sin and death. I was once governed by the flesh and had my mind set on what I desired. But Lord Your Spirit brings peace and life back to my mind and soul. I give You the glory because I now belong to Christ and my mind is governed by the Spirit. Lord help me to submit to Your ways and to choose righteousness for my life. Help me to put to death the misdeeds of the body and to live because Your Spirit lives within me. Thank You for the life You have given me.
Reading: Romans 8:5-14
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for freeing me from the law of sin and death. I was once governed by the flesh and had my mind set on what I desired. But Lord Your Spirit brings peace and life back to my mind and soul. I give You the glory because I now belong to Christ and my mind is governed by the Spirit. Lord help me to submit to Your ways and to choose righteousness for my life. Help me to put to death the misdeeds of the body and to live because Your Spirit lives within me. Thank You for the life You have given me.
