Satan wants our challenges to control us. Setbacks and difficulties cloud our mindset, behavior, and attitude. We must decide to share the same attitude Christ had, which is humility towards others and obedience to God. Jesus never let His hardships shape his conduct.
Your attitude affects your altitude! God wants to elevate and honor us! We can’t rise to the levels of spiritual authority He wants to grant us until we can trust Him with our entire lives. (specifically with our emotions)
A negative attitude is caused by many factors but ultimately, is the result of spiritual weakness and immaturity. The more we can trust God, the higher we can soar!
In order to soar, we must be made new. We put to death our old self and carnal way of thinking and put on the mind of Christ.
Intimacy with the Father is how we can understand God’s thoughts. We need His thoughts to change the way we think about ourselves, others, and God. The Holy Spirit produces in us a brand-new attitude that can change the trajectory of our lives!
