Join us this morning as we talk about how time is a friend to those who trust in the Lord.
· Salvation before the Law.
· Salvation before circumcision.
· Salvation through credited righteousness.
Go back and review Genesis 15:1-3.
In Hebrew writing when there is a repeated statement without an answer in between, “and he said...”, that is an indication of a lapse of time.
We have NO IDEA how long Abram sat waiting for God to respond to his question regarding an heir, but the text indicates that he did, in fact, wait.
Have you been waiting for God to fulfill a promise He made to you?How long have you been waiting?
Is your faith affected by the passage of time?
Do you think God is displeased with you if you question His timing?
If faith is not a feeling or emotion, how can it be defined without using subjective answers? How would you explain faith to a non-believing person?
How can you make faith active, not passive; how can you demonstrate it?
Faith involves our will being surrendered to God's will, so how can you do this?
