FLOW
the mental state where individuals are fully immersed in an activity, experiencing a focused and energized concentration.
PASCAL'S WAGER
the rational choice to live as if God exists is the better of the possible choices
Either Christianity is true, or it's false. If you bet that it's true, and you believe in God and submit to Him, then if it IS true, you've gained God, heaven, and everything else. If it's false, you've lost nothing, but you've had a good life marked by peace and the illusion that, ultimately, everything makes sense. If you bet that Christianity is not true and it's false, you've lost nothing. But if you bet that it's false, and it turns out to be true, you've lost everything, and you get to spend eternity in hell.
Blaise Pascal
When you grasp the essence of your life through the lens of Jesus, you realize there's everything to gain and nothing to lose.
The Power of Perspective
Seeing the world through the eyes of Jesus is your pathway to the best version of yourself.
Seeing the World The Eyes of Jesus Requires
• Be Content With What You Have
• Be Generous With What You Have
We see contentment as anti–American because we celebrate those whose discontent drives them to achieve more and more.
