Two Cents and Three Heads of Lettuce
Introduction:
Two Cents
Hebrews 10:19-25 ESV
19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
A holy place.
A holy priest.
Three heads of lettuce.

22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Draw Near.
23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

Hold Fast.
24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,
Stir Up.

25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

“Do all the good you can,

By all the means you can,

In all the ways you can,

In all the places you can,

At all the times you can,

To all the people you can,

As long as ever you can.”

Prayer Requests:

Group Discussion: What is the best team you have been a part of and why?

1. Pick six out of the eleven “one another's” that you would like to discuss. Read the scripture aloud and discuss these three questions: Who can I “one another” in this way right now? How does “one anothering” somebody look in this way? When have I experienced this care from somebody else?

Love one another. - John 13:34
Encourage one another. - 1st Thessalonians 5:11
Serve one another. - Galatians 5:13
Pray for one another. - James 5:16
Be kind and compassionate to one another. - Ephesians 4:32
Carry one another’s burdens. - Galatians 6:2
Live in harmony with one another. - Romans 12:16
Be devoted to one another. - Romans 12:10
Confess your sins to one another. - James 5:16
Bear with each other and forgive one another. - Colossians 3:13
Value one another above yourselves. - Philippians 2:3

2. Trying to be all these things to all people is exhausting and impossible. How many people realistically can you “one another” well? Jesus, being fully God, had a group of 12, what does that tell us? A lack of honesty and humility keeps people away from helping us; how do we overcome these two hurdles?
