What are you thinking?
(Proverbs 23:7 - NKJV)


- Your life is moving in the direction of your strongest thoughts. (Proverbs 4:23 – NCV)
- It’s time to think about what we think about.
(Romans 12:2) Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (NLT)


(2 Corinthians 10:3-5) For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
1) We are in a war for control of our thoughts. (1 Corinthians 10:3)

2) We take every thought captive. (2 Corinthians 10:4-5)


(1 Peter 5:8) Be alert and of a sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
3) We make every thought obedient to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5)


(John 17:17) – “… Your Word is truth.”
“Word” = Greek - aletheia (al-ay’-thi-a) - “highest reality”
(Hebrews 4:12) “For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”


(Philippians 4:7-8) “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.”
