Nathanael - The Patron Saint of Skeptics

There are many reasons why people are skeptical and may have an attitude of doubt.

1. Maybe they've been burned before and simply want to be on guard.
2. Maybe they never intend to “join” the party and so they throw out every reason why it is silly.
3. Maybe they're just wired that way. Many of the people that I know that are skeptics are simply wired to ask questions why and how, and to rarely take what is given to them as the gospel truth without further explanation.
