“The entrance of Your words gives light…”

John 8:12
‘Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”’


Revelation 21:23
“The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.”


The focus is on Jesus!

Just a recap of my brain so far:
*Focus requires intentionality.
*Clarity would be great to have in our lives.
*21 Days of Prayer and Fasting can be beneficial.
*Words are powerful.
*Jesus is light…so, I should be light.

“I’m going to be intentional and focus on clarity from God. For 21 days I will set aside time to pray while denying myself of some things that are part of my normal day to day life, like certain food and entertainment. I know that words are powerful and I want my words to align with the light of Jesus living in me.”

God is the only being that can create Ex-Nihilo: “out of nothing”

We have the natural tendency to be overfilled with the things of the world.
Fasting returns us to original intent…a vessel of honor.

2 Timothy 2:21
