Reading: Psalms 100:1-5
Prayer: Dear Lord, I praise You! Thank You for creating me and revealing Yourself to me. You give me joy and make my heart glad. You are good and Your love endures forever. Lord, as I begin this new year I ask for You to increase my faith and my trust in You. I want to sing Your praises daily and I want others to come to know You as I live my life filled with thankfulness for all You are.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for second chances. You saw me in need of You and arrived at just the right time. Lord, I know I may not have always chosen You or Your ways, but You give me the chance to choose You today. I have a new beginning in You and I can start afresh. Lord, I thank You that having a life in You is not dependent on where I'm from or where I have been, but based on Your love for me.

Prayer: I love You, Lord! Thank You for doing a new thing. Thank You that my past does not determine my future. Thank You for making a way for me to come to You. Lord help me to let go of the past and to focus on You and the things You are doing in my life today. Lord You are bringing streams of renewal into the deserted and forgotten places in my life. Help me to lead others to You so You can do new and fresh things in their life also.

Thank You for Your word which teaches me and encourages my faith to grow in You. Please help me to bring encouragement to my friends and family and to live as a reminder of Your love for them also.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for Your Son. Through Your Son, I am able to have new life and a hope that carries me through the challenges of this world. Thank You that the old is gone. Thank You that I do not have to be afraid of who I was for I am made new in You. I can live with a new way of thinking and create new habits that are formed after Your ways and bear Your fruit in my life.

Please hold me close and keep me centered on You.
