"Acts 2:42-47 summarizes the daily life of the earliest Christian community in Jerusalem. The passage is fairly easy to understand in terms of the picture it describes. Its challenge comes in discerning how to apply it. Is the life of this community to be taken as a model for Christian life today? If so, it would be hard to deny that most Christians are missing the mark on some key points. If it is not to be so taken, then what shall we do with the passage?" Click link to read more.

GROWTH GROUP / PERSONAL REFLECTION QUESTIONS
1. Can you remember a time where it felt you met God in community? What did that feel like and how did that change your conception of God?
2. What does it mean to you to be devoted to others? How do you practice that in your faith? What is potentially hard about being devoted to other people?
3. Have you ever felt like there was a barrier to a community you wanted to be a part of? How has that informed the ways you try to be welcoming to others now? What do you think it means to be radically welcoming? Would this challenge your view of who we should be reaching out to as a church?
4. How do you think StoneBridge has helped transform this Earth to spread the hope of Jesus? How do you want to continue that ministry or start new ministries?
