Baptisms – Sun. 12/31, 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. gatherings:
Baptism is a public witness of an internal reality, that the person has passed from death to life by trusting Jesus alone for salvation. Today at 9:15 a.m., we’re baptizing Lanelle Stumf (by friends Shirley Quig and Trina Malsbury). At 11 a.m., we will baptize Abbi Zeller (by mentors Tawnya Ertle and Kristen Price) and Maysen Merritt (by Tawnya Ertle and Abbi Zeller).

Next Week's Sermon
Just as we asked for Love today, next week we'll ask for the same gift the first apostles sought in the face of opposition: boldness. Our world can talk easily about "God," but declaring Jesus to be God revealed and the only way to the Father can cause offense. When we encounter resistance to the name of Jesus, how will we react? We'll explore how the early followers of Jesus handled this and glean truth for our context today.
