Everyone of us have made plans before that changed.

When our plans are interrupted or challenged we often experience fear and frustration.

Mary’s plans changed.

Trust is the opposite of fear.

When our plans are interrupted or challenged it gives us an opportunity to trust.

Mary was faithful despite her fear.
When your plans are challenged you can trust God.

How do we trust God when our plans have been challenged?
#1 Stay humble
You don’t have too understand everything to keep moving forward with God’s plan.

Luke 1:34 (ESV)
34And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?”

#2 Keep an open mind
You have to keep an open mind even when you have plans in place.

Submission to God’s will almost always involves some risk.

Left alone=RISK

#3 Adapt
Joseph realized his plans would change because God had something else in mind for Him.

We can learn a lot from Joseph's ability to adapt while letting God lead.

During this holiday season and into the New Year, let go of your grip on your plans and trust God to lead you.
