MONDAY: What's in the box?
Reading: Isaiah 35:10
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for Your word. Thank You for speaking through Your prophets about a time of rejoicing and joy that will overtake me. Lord help me to keep my joy by looking forward to that time. Lord, Your joy is like no other, it does not depend on my circumstances and it does not fade. Thank You, Lord! Please continue to watch over me until that day.

Reading: Psalms 51:10-12
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for the joy of Your salvation. Whenever I become discouraged about the things I see and hear around me, I can look to You and receive Your joy again. Lord, touch my heart and help me to stay connected to You. Help my desire to be closer to You. Lord, please help me to humble myself and give me the willingness to follow Your ways.

Prayer: Lord, You are the God of hope! Lord please allow Your Spirit to fill me with hope so that it overflows and others can see the joy and peace in me. Lord, help me to speak plainly why my hope is in You and where my joy comes from. Thank You for the peace You give as I continue to trust in You.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your fruit. Lord I ask for Your help to bear this fruit in my life. Help me grow in my joy in You, help me to continue to have patience as You transform me into who You made me to be. Lord help me to express kindness and gentleness as I exercise self-control and put You first. Lord help me to share why this fruit bears in my life as I point the way for others to come into fellowship with You.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your fruit. Lord I ask for Your help to bear this fruit in my life. Prayer: Lord thank You for the opportunities You give me to wait upon You. Lord my joy is found both now in the hope of Your salvation and in the day I will see You again. Lord, I may be full of questions and confusion as I try to reconcile the way of the world with Your Word, but I put my joy in You knowing that one day the Truth will be revealed. I praise You, Lord!

Thank You for saving me from the dominion of darkness and bringing me into Your Son's kingdom. Thank You for the joy that endures all seasons and all of life's changes and challenges. I love You, Lord!
