Christmas starts in the dark.

They were people who knew the words of God and yet did not have the Hope of God, that is until they met Jesus.

All of theology boils down to the first few chapters of Genesis.

God doesn’t have an origin story because He is the origin.

We are part of the chaos that God drew order out of. We were the darkness that could not comprehend Him.

The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Before Adam and Even even knew they needed a rescue, God began to provide for our redemption.

God never stopped speaking, but we did give up listening.

Anytime we break from trusting in the Lord we put His voice on mute and willingly walk back into the dark.

Until we come to the end of ourselves, we will never understand our need for a Savior.

Christmas is about God taking the ultimate step in the redemption of man.

Christmas is a time for us to remember what God has done for us.

Christmas is a time for us to shine the Light and share the Hope that we have in Jesus.

They need our truth, they also need our grace.

They need our sympathy, they also need our generosity.

They need our Hope, they also need our testimony.
