Sermon Title: Reliability
Sermon Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:2, Luke 2:8-20
Big Idea: The reliable account of Jesus’ birth was to be shared.
2 Timothy 2:2
1. The Gospel is to be shared with witnesses.
a. Angels - In the company of God - Job 1:6;
b. Shepherds - Symbolic or practical? - Psalm 23:1, Matthew 9:36; Genesis 47:3-4
Why do you think Jesus chose angels and shepherds for this occasion?
2. Witnesses must be reliable.
a. Angels - Genesis 19 story (1,10-11,13); Obedient - Psalm 103:20
b. Shepherds - 2:8 - doing their job, 15-16 - talked and ran
What are the qualities of a reliable witness of the Gospel today?
3. Reliable means they believe the message.
a. Angels - Luke 2:10
b. Shepherds - Luke 2:20
What does the message of Jesus coming to the world mean to you?

Sunday in-person Worship Covid Precautions
We are pleased you chose to join us in-person this Sunday morning! We ask that if you do not feel well, or have any symptoms of sickness or fever, that you stay home.
We are not requiring masks, simply suggesting the safety of wearing them, making them available, and keeping everyone aware of current guidelines.
We have masks available as well as hand sanitizer in the church lobby. Please be respectful when it comes to hugs and handshakes. Some people are more comfortable with what is going on than others and again, we simply want to act in love.
Please take a communion cup (bread is underneath) as you enter the worship center in preparation for the Lord's Supper.
We recommend using the QR code to view the virtual bulletin using your own phone or tablet.
Weekly Worship is also streamed online weekly from our Facebook and YouTube pages at 9:00 am Sundays and from our CHOP (Church Online Platform) at 10:30 am.
