4 Themes of Advent:
Hope, Love, Peace, Joy


(Romans 15:13) May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

_____GOD____ has a job that results in our lives being _____FILLED_____________ with_JOY & PEACE____, though Jesus Christ.

__HOLY SPIRIT____ has a job that results in our lives __OVERFLOWING___ with ___HOPE_____

_______WE_____ have a job, that results in us being the ___FILLED_____ with JOY and PEACE and _____OVERFLOWING__ HOPE as we _______TRUST_________________.

(Lamentations 3:22-23) “Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

How to Establish Trust in God

1. Establish Trust in God’s __PROCESS___

(Hebrews 10:35-37) So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37 For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” NIV

2. Establish Trust in God’s ___PLAN____


(Psalm 10:17) “LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble: You will prepare their heart. You will cause Your ear to hear” NKJV


(Proverbs 3:5-6) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.” NLT
