Three observations before we answer the question, "What does God owe you?"
1. Remember what humanity does?
a. Exchange the truth of God for a lie
i. Did God really say?
ii. We chose not just to disobey but to obey a lie
iii. Satan exposed the freedom God had given us within our desires
b. Worship and serve lesser things
2. Remember who humanity is
a. Created
b. Limited
c. Eternal
3. Remember who God is
a. Beyond description
b. Greater than us in every way
In light of who God is, who humanity is, and what humanity has done, “What does God owe you?”
1. Live in joy. Joy should be the great maker of Christianity.
2. Shine bright the love of God into darkness.
