The Christmas season isn't always joyful and merry.
In the middle of all the hustle and bustle, it's easy to forget what Christmas is really about.
Christmas is more than just a tradition; it's a reminder of God's incredible love for us.
In the midst of our dark and troubled world, Jesus came to bring peace, love, hope, and joy.
Why did Jesus come to earth?
Christmas isn't just the celebration of a historical event. It's recognizing that in Jesus, God reached out to His creation. This season is an invitation to embrace the reality that God is with us, offering us a life that's authentic, fulfilling, and rooted in divine love.
Jesus came to bless the world.
“Christmas and the incarnation mean that God went to infinite lengths to make himself one whom we can know personally.” —Tim Keller
Jesus is God’s gift to our world.
God gave Abraham a promise that led to a family, which became a nation, evolved into a kingdom, and from which the Savior of the world was born.
God came into the world in the form of the people he created… God's creation of humanity in his image gives hints of who he is…But as flawed humans, we give only a vague hint of God. Then, two thousand years ago, God came in his fullness. He came to all of us in Jesus.
The incarnation is not owned, trademarked, or controlled by any church. It belongs to every human being. The incarnation is not something that requires a distributor or middleman. It is a gracious gift to every person everywhere, religious or not. God gave himself to us in Jesus.

"You know how it is when some great king enters a large city and dwells in one of its houses; because of his dwelling in that single house, the whole city is honored… Even so is it with the King of all; He has come into our country and dwelt in one body amidst the many, and in consequence, the designs of the enemy against mankind have been foiled and the corruption of death, which formerly held them in its power, has simply ceased to be. For the human race would have perished utterly had not the Lord and Savior of all the Son of God, come among us to put an end to death."
– Athanasius of Alexandria
